  • When registering the software under a user with restricted user rights, admin rights can be requested via the new Run as admin button.
  • From this version onwards, the software supports sound files. A corresponding sound is emitted for certain actions (e.g. chip card events).
  • Problems with the simultaneous execution of our software in several user contexts have been resolved.
  • A memory overflow occurred in a service function of our encryption solutions due to a problem in the Bluetooth interface, which we were able to rectify.

  • Problems with critical sections fixed.
  • The backup function for key files has been optimized. In addition, a restore function is offered if problems occur. A corresponding question dialog is displayed for this purpose.

  • In the new version, the speed in all applications could be increased through optimization. The program abylon APP-BLOCKER has also received many new features, such as Windows update and Windows Defender permanently disable.
  • For animated images a .NET component is needed. This is now initialized correctly, so that possible call problems are excluded.
  • By clicking on a column, all tables can be sorted chronologically.
  • By optimizing the function call, the performance of all apps could be increased significantly.
  • Problems in service connection and registry access were fixed.
  • The autostart of the program can be activated and deactivated via the menu (3 dashes).
  • When deleting directories, sometimes so-called ghosts remained. Deleted directories are now correctly removed in the directory display.
  • The waiting dialog when starting the software is automatically closed after 5 seconds in case of a problem.
  • The size of icons in lists and trees has been reduced to 28x28 pixels.

  • To avoid protection violations, the general startup dialog of our programs has been revised. This can be disabled in the registry under HKCUSoftwareabylon by changing the value FWUSEWAITDLG from YES to NO.
  • By default, files to be deleted are no longer generally shredded. The shredder level has been set from 1 to 0 for this purpose and can be manually adjusted in the settings under "General".
  • Network access via mapped drives has been optimized to allow error-free access to files even with admin privileges.
  • Problems with deleting directories have been fixed.
  • When starting the program as a minimized tray icon, a short hint text is displayed.
  • The start dialog of the programs was further optimized and can be deactivated via the registry in case of problems (HKCU -> REG_SZ -> "FWUSEWAITDLG" = "NO")

  • Ctrl+A can now be used to select all files in the list. Also the sort order can be changed by clicking on the corresponding column. Here sorting is done by alphabet, size and date in the list view.
  • File operations in the program window were not displayed promptly, so that deleted files, for example, were still listed in the file list. This has now been optimized and if there are still problems, the display can be updated via the update icon. In addition, further optimizations have been made to increase stability.
  • Administration rights are no longer required to check whether a new update is available.

  • Abylon CRYPTDRIVE: The USB installation is not possible due to technical reasons and is no longer shown in the settings.
  • Abylon KEYSAFE, abylon BASIC, abylon CRYPTDRIVE, abylon ENTERPRISE: The accidental display in the settings for the CT32 DLL and the Administration Server has been solved.
  • Abylon BACKUP-TUBE: The unwanted dialog for opening a file on the log page is no longer displayed.
  • Abylon BACKUP-TUBE: An unwanted memory increase has been fixed.
  • Abylon LOGON Business: Administration in networks would be optimized so that the workstation mode is now generally active.   • Abylon KEYSAFE: Keysafe usernames still do not accept changes from uppercase to lowercase and vice versa. To make this change, an additional character must be temporarily added to the username, which can be removed again in step 2.

  • Cross-program: The waiting dialog when starting the application is now displayed as a simple hexagon with program name.
  • Abylon KEYSAFE, abylon LOGON SSO Pro: The automatic monitoring of application windows for autopmatic training was removed for performance reasons. New logon dialogs can now be taught-in via the tray icon and the menu entry Teach-in new application window.
  • Cross-program: Negative window coordinates are now intercepted programatically. In addition, the unpredictable jumping of the window while slicing would be prevented.abylon BASIC, abylon SHREDDER, abylon CRYPTDRIVE, abylon CRYPTMAIL, abylon SHAREDDRIVE, abylon LOGON, abylon LOGON SSO Pro, abylon READER, abylon LOGON Business, abylon ENTERPRISE, abylon KEYSAFE: The functionality RemoteAdmin has been removed from all modules because the registry access is over the network has not worked reliably since Windows Vista. With the abylon LOGON Business software, the settings defined on the server are distributed to the clients via a restricted user profile. - Cross-program: Drag-and-drop operations via windows with different rights are now displayed with the No entry icon.
