clipShow Changelog

What's new in clipShow 1.1

Mar 26, 2009
  • The only additional feature for 1.1 is the added support to browse AVCHD files (.mts, .m2ts, .m2t) within clipShow.
  • Please note that you must seperately configure your Windows Vista PC to allow playback of these file formats. This install will not enable Vista Media Center to play the AVCHD files, but rather provide the ability for clipShow to include these files in the media browser.
  • If you have installed a previous version of clipShow, you must uninstall prior to installing this release.
  • Several items to consider for playing MTS files within clipShow:
  • You must first verify that the MTS files will play within the VMC shell prior to attempting to use clipShow to play the MTS files.
  • For this release clipShow will only create thumbnail titles for the MTS files it finds.
  • Because default Windows Vista installations do not include MTS type files in the Search Index associated as video media, be sure to place a shortcut link to the MTS file location in either the Public Videos or a user's video folder.
