- Works, Books, Press - The images you insert are automatically resized if their original size exceed the parameters defined in User Preferences -> Options -> Works -> Automatically resize inserted images (700 x 700 pixels by default). If you do not want the images to be resized, uncheck Automatically resize inserted images. You can always do this manually.
- Address Book, Artists - The image is automatically resized to fit the Photo fiels: 64 x 72 pixels in Address Book and 75 x 107 pixels in Artists module.
- Printing of custom print templates - When you are printing custom templates, exporting records to these templates may take some time, depending on network speed. This action can now be canceled by pressing the keys Shift + Cmd + ; (Mac OS) or Esc (Windows) on your keyboard.
- Made some improvements in dialog boxes.
New in vGallery 2.0.5 (Oct 25, 2013)
- General - Added menu File -> Send Snapshot Link... that allows to save and/or send by email a record or the search results as a file in FMPSL format (e.g. Works.fmpsl). Double-click on the FMPSL file restores the record and/or selection previously saved.
- Works - Added menu Records -> Other -> Find Images by Size: allows you to find images with the weight KB (Kilobytes) that exceeds the defined value. The purpose of this action is to find images with too large size that can be resized.
- Works - Added the price of work in the printed catalogs.
- A plug-in (CNS-Image) which could cause problems when inserting or resizing images, especially on Windows, was deleted. The plug-in features have been rewritten and are always available.
- Added menu File -> Save a Copy as… for versions of vGallery hosted on our server. This feutre allows you to make an additional data backup on your computer. The copy saved by this action is the daily backup, automatically recorded by the server (between 23 and 24 pm). This is due to the inability of the server to save databases currently in use elsewhere than on its own hard drive.
- Windows only: in List mode, the color of the active record is now slightly darker.
- Fixed some minor bugs.
