You're joking right?

A new twist on a very old concept. Mr. Chris P.C. srl has come out with a product that NO ONE IN THE WORLD has EVER created. If you can sense the sarcasm, I'm glad. For those that can't? There was a lot intended. With Chris PC-Lock 1.10 you get the opportunity to waste your time and money on a worthless product.

I'm sorry to say that this will be a lot more like a rant than a review. I'm talking about a piece of software that is utterly worthless. If you're smart enough to surf the net, download any sort of program, install and implement it, then I have to say that you're smart not waste your time with this program.

The simplicity of this program is clear from the start. With essentially only 4 usable windows this program isn't really much of a powerhouse. Starting with 'Main Settings,' background, picture, color, and advanced options.'

There's so little I don't know where to begin.

If you've ever left your computer on until your screensaver comes on then you've pretty much experienced this program. If you've ever enabled password protection on your PC, then you've done exactly what this program offers. Except for the little option of setting the 'lock screen' as a hotkey on your keyboard.

Chris PC-Lock essentially takes the place of "locking" your desktop with one push of a button. Something any user could do themselves. But wait! It also adds beautiful backgrounds and wallpapers. Yes, I guess that's technically correct, but they're the default pictures from Win XP. So there's really nothing new.

The Good

With one single push of a button, you're able to lock your computer from any mishaps that could possible occur. You can set preferences on using stealth mode/normal mode and has a nice hotkey addition.

The Bad

So much to say, so little room. Save your time and money. If you know how to LOCK your computer using Ctr. Alt. Del. Please don't waste your time. If you can right click your desktop, go to Properties, then the Screensaver tab and enable 'password protect', don't waste your time with this program.

The Truth

This product is a blatant SHAM! I can't believe the guy who made this is only giving you a 21 day trial version and then expects you to pay $18.00 for the whole thing! He simply wrote a script that combines 2 aspects of Windows that naturally anyone can use for themselves for FREE! (That's after you pay for Windows that is). A lot more work and effort needs to go in this program that really doesn't offer anything new. What a sham.
