OK, you already know that iTunes is used to access the biggest digital music download service. You are not Mac fans, you don?t have an iPod and you see no reason why you should care about iTunes 5.0? Well, you?re wrong. Since the Windows version is free, you have the chance now to install a player which can easily compete with Winamp. Especially if you have an impressive MP3 collection, then you should definitely try it.

First of all, the interface looks extraordinary and everything is so well-organized that with only a few clicks, you will be able to get to any MP3 file, playlist or to other audio file (AAC or WMA). Some will complain that this interface occupies too much space, but if you switch to Mini Player (CTRL+M) mode, then you will have a window with all the vital buttons and another one with the current status, which will need a minimum amount of space.

As a personal confession, I have to admit that up until now, I?ve been a fan of the Yahoo Launchcast service, but even if they cannot be customized, the iTunes radio stations are less demanding on your Internet connection, In addition, you won?t have to worry about getting bored, since their number is quite high.

If you are one of those users who look first at the list of options and preferences, you won?t be disappointed either. iTunes 5.0, just like the previous versions, offers has enough configuration options to allow it to compete for the ideal Jukebox title.

As I was saying, for those with large MP3 collections, Smart Playlist is an option which will help them to create in less than 5 minutes the most interesting playlists.

In conclusion, iTunes 5.0 shouldn?t miss from any PC, Mac fan or not. It?s worth it!
