DC++ has received a new round of improvements today, so all users currently running the app should have a look at this fresh build as fast as possible.

Since it’s a new release, DC++ 0.831 r3365 comes with several bug fixes, so expect a slight performance improvement, as well as less crashes after deploying this particular build.

According to the official release notes, this new version fixes NMDC TTH search responses and increases maximum command length to 512 KiB.

The application continues to offer support for all Windows versions still on the market, including Windows XP and Windows 7. No dedicated support is offered for Windows 8.1, but we’ve tested the app and everything seems to be working just fine on this OS release.

All in all, this app remains a handy tool for downloading files via Direct Connect, so download DC++ 0.831 r3365 to get the latest improvements right now.
