Trace Log is a reliable, smart and fully-featuredtool that enables you to perform real-time monitoring on any server logs simultaneously.
The main goal is to group all related log files into one tool so that you don't have search and dig for them. This tool enables you to attach any log files, such as Tomcat logs, WAS logs, IIS logs, etc.
If this is the first time you use this tool, you need to configure and attach any necessary log files. Once attached, a configuration file will be stored locally in your user profile of that computer.
The next time you use this tool again, it will load the configuration automatically and you can begin monitoring the log contents immediately.
The Main Log merges and displays all log contents into one viewer. The log contents from each file are color coded to distinguish them from other log contents of other log files.
Each log file also has its own dedicated viewer. The contents in the viewer can be cleared if they get to be really lengthy. Quick application launch through system tray. Automatic software update check every time the application is launched.

· Implemented "Stop/Start All Logs" button in Main Log tab. This toggle button enables user to stop all the log listeners and starts them again.
· Implemented "Stop/Start Log" button in other log tab(s). This action stop/start only one particular log file.
· Implemented "Clear All Logs" button in Main Log tab. This action clears the contents in all log viewers.
· Implemented "Open Log File" button in other log tab(s). This allows user to open the particular log file using the external editor that is configured under "Options..." menu item.
· Renamed "Log Configuration" menu item to "Options...".
· "Options..." enables user to configure log files and set up preferred external editor. The default editor is notepad.
· Changed user config file from config.properties to config.xml, and utilized Castor to perform marshalling and unmarshalling tasks.
· Changed tool minimum size from 640x480 to 800x600.
