Blumind

Blumind is an interactive mindmapping utility that lets you gather your thoughts in a digital environment and easily organize them. This type of software is great for increasing personal productivity levels, as well as for conducting a brainstorming session within a team of professionals.

It's possible to add subtopics, notes and links, assign icons and progress bars, create an entirely new chart in another tab by using the currently selected topic as the central idea (for derivative thinking), as well as customize text properties when it comes to the font, round radius, shape, alignment, background and foreground colors, hyperlinks, and layout.

The chart's topics and subtopics can be seamlessly explored in an objects tree view, where you can just select an entry to view its properties and jump to its representation in the mindmap. Plus, you can get an overview of the entire map, zoom in and out, or enter full screen mode.

Blumind lets you undo your actions to fix any mistakes, resort to a search function to track down a specific topic (e.g. case sensitive, whole words, regular expressions, hidden items), replace keywords with something else, copy the format of a topic to apply it to another one, manage UI themes, or start a timer.

The project can be saved to file and later resumed, exported to several files type (BMP, CSV, FreeMind, GIF, JPEG, PDF, PNG, SVG, text, TIFF), imported from CSV or FreeMind format, as well as printed.

Blumind worked smoothly in our tests, without triggering the OS to hang, crash or display error dialogs. It used low CPU and RAM. This software tool comes bundled with practical and approachable options to help you put together mindmap, and it addresses all user levels.
