Blumind Portable

Blumind Portable is a software utility developed in order to help people easily create multiple types of diagrams, as well as edit and save them to the hard drive.

This is the portable version of Blumind, meaning that installation is not a prerequisite. As a consequence, the Windows registry and Start menu/screen are not going to be affected in any way.

Aside from that, it is possible to run Blumind Portable on any computer you have access to, by dropping the program files to a portable storage unit (e.g. USB flash drive).

This software tool supports export for multiple types of files, including BMP, CSV, MM, GIF, JPEG, PDF, PNG, SVG, TXT and TIFF. When it comes to importing, only MM and CSV is available.

It is possible to undo or redo actions, cut, copy, paste and delete elements, choose another mind map theme from a built-in list, add topics, sub-topics and links, as well as zoom in and out. In addition to that, you can upload icons, in formats such as PNG, JPG, GIF and BMP, from the hard drive or the Internet.

The application also integrates a search function, as well as a find and replace one. In both cases, you can enable case sensitive items, look only for whole words and enable regular expressions.

The Help contents are provided as mind maps, the interface is user-friendly and supports multiple languages, a print preview is available and you can open multiple projects at a time in different tabs, therefore enabling multi-tasking.

Blumind Portable is an efficient piece of software with numerous options, accessible to both experienced and novice users. Response time is good and our tests did not reveal any errors, crashes or bugs.
