Open SVG Files

SVG is an acronym for Scalable Vector Graphics and it is a largely used format for illustrating two-dimensional vector graphics over the Internet.

Besides having support for both static and animated vector data, SVG images can also be defined within XML text files which will allow users to easily index, search or compress them.

Since it is XML-based, SVG files can be opened by almost any text processor, but users can also choose one of the dedicated software solutions.

Also, some SVG-compatible utilities can be used to crop or resize the vector images, or to export them to other formats.
