RBTray

RBTray is a small Windows application whose purpose is to help you minimize windows in the system tray area using straightforward actions.

The utility can be deployed on 32- and 63-bit operating systems and you can pick the preferred one from the installation package.

It does not come with support for a built-in option that could help you run the program at Windows startup so you need to manually create a shortcut to the executable file in your Start menu folder.

RBTray does not help you minimize windows via a GUI. It actually runs in the background without interfering with your work.

The application gives you the possibility to send any program to the system tray by simply performing a right-click on the minimize button. In order to restore the target utility, you need to press a single left click on the tray icon.

In case you want to close RBTray, this option is available by right-clicking on a minimized window in the system tray. Aside from terminating the program, you can close or restore the current window. The tool is also able to make the selected panel remain on top of others using preset keyboard shortcuts (Win-T).

Tests have shown that RBTray carries out a task very quickly and without errors. It doesn’t eat up a lot of CPU and memory so the overall performance of the system is not hampered.
