RBTray Portable

Made as the portable counterpart of RBTray, RBTray Portable is a simplistic and powerful application that gives you the possibility to minimize any opened window to the systray instead of the taskbar.

It can be handled by all users looking to declutter their desktop, including taskbar icons. This way, programs are sent to the system tray area to become non-intrusive and let you carry on with your normal PC activity without interruptions.

All you have to do is extract the program files to a custom location on the hard disk or directly to a USB flash drive to seamlessly launch RBTray Portable on any computer. It doesn't make any changes to the Windows registry or create any extra files on the disk without your permission.

Once you launch the program, you're welcomed by a standard message dialog that tells you how to use RBTray. There is no graphical interface involved. Right-clicking the minimize button of any opened window sends it to the systray, while the left-click action can still be used for taskbar minimization.

In order to exit the application, you can either run its executable again and confirm this action, or open the right-click menu of any tool minimized to the tray to select the exit option. In the second mentioned case, all minimized windows are automatically restored. Worth noting is that the utility has no effect on windows which already get minimized to the systray prior to running RBTray.

Unsurprisingly, it used a very low amount of CPU and RAM throughout our testing, so its impact on the computer's performance wasn't noticeable. We haven't come across any issues, as it didn't hang, crash or prompt error messages.
