8 Zip is one of the most powerful file compression tools available in the Windows Store and, even though it’s not offered with a freeware license, it’s already installed on plenty of computers running Microsoft’s new OS.

An update released today is supposed to fix some of the problems reported by users in the previous builds, including bad translations and other unnamed bugs.

In addition, the application is now displaying a language selection menu on the main screen to make sure that all users can easily make the most of it.

The supported languages include English, German, Spanish, French, Russian (Russia), Portuguese, Italian, Latvian, and Chinese.

As you most likely know by now, 8 Zip can work with a long list of formats, such as RAR, ZIP, 7z, ZipX, ISO, BZIP2, GZIP, TAR, ARJ, and CAB.
