14 DAY TRIAL // Totalidea Software has updated 8StartButton (Windows 8 and up), its alternative to the start menu in Windows 8, to build 2.1.2.
The fresh revision includes mostly improvements and code optimizations, but a small set of fixes is also present on the list of changes.
Future revisions of the application should become more stable as the current build includes more error handlers. A message is now shown in the list if the list of recent documents is not populated.
Among the issues fixed in 8StartButton 2.1.2 there is the one with refreshing the list of recent documents; the action would not occur when removing an item. Another problem solved refers to unwanted entries popping up in the list of recently used programs.
Additional changed also include updating of some language files and some UI elements not being translated to the selected working language.
