It’s time to get excited again as the new versions for Adobe Flash Player and AIR are out and deliver new capabilities.

The new version of AIR 3.3 SDK allows developers to build expressive mobile apps and native extensions that target iOS 5.1. The runtime integrates packaging support for iOS 5.1 on Windows and iPad3 retina display capabilities.

The set of enhancements for Adobe AIR 3.3 includes texture streaming support for Stage3D and stylus support for Android 4.0. Additionally, it improves resource usage for games and apps running in the background.

As for Flash Player, version 11.3 introduces new features designed for even more overwhelming experiences, for gaming in particular. Starting this revision, developers can create apps that offer keyboard input in full-screen mode.
