The stable build for Adobe Lightroom 4.1 is currently available for download. The release is accompanied by a small batch of modifications that fine tune some of the features.

For instance, the developer made additional corrections as far as Color Fringing is concerned, in order to help the user better address chromatic aberration. Moreover, Adobe’s workflow tool can process HDR TIFF files (16, 24 or 32-bit).

Other modifications in this build include the possibility to save photobooks created in the Book Module to JPEG and publishing photos to Adobe Revel can now be completed via a Publish plugin.

As for the bugs, Lightroom 4.1 does away with some performance issues, especially when loading GPS track logs using a secondary monitor, and the controls in the Develop module.
