Adobe released a new update, 10.1.3, for its Acrobat and Reader products, which integrate the possibility to sign digital documents with Adobe EchoSign, free of charge.

You can choose how you want the document to be signed, and the options are to draw the signature yourself or add a typed or cursive signature. As a new version of the application for mobile is also available, the new capabilities extend to these devices as well.

Apart from signing the document yourself, there is also the possibility to send it to others to sign it, through Adobe EchoSign service. This also permits senders to track and manage the status of documents online. Moreover, documents are stored in the cloud, so you can get them easily.

Apart from introducing the free document-signing feature, the new release also deals with security vulnerabilities that would cause crashes as well as allow code execution.
