SlySoft released a new major version of AnyDVD equipped with a whole slew of new stuff, focusing mostly on Blu-ray content. DVD content has also been touched on, intr0oducing a workaround for incorrectly recorded AVCREC DVDs.

AnyDVD 7.0 also incorporates a set of repairs, designed to improve the functionality and stability of the application. This build introduces support for java-based protection in the case of Blu-rays, fixes a possible crash in RCE removal and the “repair defective disc structure” stage in the ripper component should no longer cause PS10 errors.

Newly added in this release as far as Blu-rays are concerned, is support for new BD+protection, updated decryption keys as well as a workaround for broken Lite-On (and OEMs, e.g. ASUS) firmware which caused creation of ISO images with incorrect size.
