Microsoft has hinted not long ago that a Metro version of iTunes could be released at some point, so some developers are trying to make the most of this with some pretty awkward clones.

The so-called Apple iTunes app that’s now available for download from the Store is actually a simple Metro tool that comprises basic videos to showcase the key features of iTunes.

“Your tunes, movies and games whenever you want them. Apple's platform for downloading media is at your command. Master iTunes in one-minute videos, then show off your skills,” the app description reads.

What’s more, the clone isn’t offered for free, but with a $9.99 (€8.55) price tag, so users who want to have a look at it have no other option than to purchase the full version.
