Ashampoo released today a new major revision for Music Studio (reviewed here), their audio manager that can be used to burn and organize music, rip Audio CDs, edit tracks, convert them to a different format or creating mix tapes.

Music Studio 4 brings to the table better performance as well as new features. The first thing you should notice is the redesigned interface, free of clutter and more intuitive.

The developer also worked on the startup speed of the program, advertising a mere three-second time to launch the product.

Conversion options in the new release have been extended and include the possibility to extract the audio track from a video file.

Also new in Music Studio 4 is the possibility to create mix tapes by adding your favorite music with full cross-fading support.
