Avant Browser has just been updated to build 175. The current revision features updates for Gecko and Webkit engines, to 13.0.1.4562 and 20.0.1132.47 respectively. However, the web browser also saw some repairs.

Most of the repairs are Gecko-related and include serious problems, such as crashing of the plugin container or even the entire browser.

Other issues fixed in this release refer to auto-fill not working with certain web pages and the downloader, which would garble up the file name on some websites.

Webkit engine would also be the source of a serious issue, as it caused Avant to crash when exiting sleep mode.

Other repairs consisted in inability to recognize the environment variables in the registry and a security warning problem occurring when opening links from Start>Favorites.

Avant Browser is available for download from this page.
