The development for Avant Browser continues with the release of a new build, which brings to the table new features, improvements and plenty of fixes.

Among the most notable novelties introduced in build 169 of the web browser is the availability of Chrome rendering engine.

On the same note, the development team added the possibility to open links with other rendering engines. This can be done from the context menu of Bookmarks, Autofill, History, etc.

This revision also adds a new mouse gesture, for moving quickly to the top or bottom of a web page. Another option introduced is the possibility to view only the favicons in the bookmarks bar.

The list of repairs covers a wide range of annoyances, which included the downloader failing to start the job, inability to remember the size of the window on a second monitor or various problems with the rendering engines.
