14 DAY TRIAL // Avast rolled out the third release candidate for their 2014 security suites for consumers (see download links below). The new build number is 9.0.2005 and the revision does away with glitches, further refining the stability and functionality of the products.
The developer announced that among the most important problems addressed in this release is the issue with the plugin for Internet Explorer web browser, which should work without any trouble.
Additionally, users should no longer experience BSODs because of the firewall module or crashes of the graphical user interface.
Installing this version over the old one should be carried out without losing any settings.
There is no official word about the launch of the stable release of Avast 2014 but judging by the short list of fixes implemented the developer might be able to make it available by the end of the next week.
