FavBackup can save important items in web browsers

One of the problems with web browsers is backing up various elements and restoring them. However, recent development makes this possible in some cases through synchronization.

Firefox has it and so does Google Chrome. But many other web browsers do not offer this functionality at the moment, and a third-party application is necessary for this sort of operation.

Although not the only one filling this need, FavBackup may be the right tool for many users, as the application offers backup options for a wide range of browsers: Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera, Chrome, Safari and Flock.

Backup options vary for each navigator, it can deal with preferences, history, cookies or sessions. Extensions and plug-ins are also included for some of them, just like the list of downloads or contacts (if supported).
