Microsoft yesterday held the financial analyst meeting 2013 to provide more details about its new vision, but the event was interrupted by some unexpected technical issues.

The keynote hosted by Kevin Turner, the company’s chief operating officer, was interrupted by a power outage that affected not only the event itself, but also the live streaming that allowed users and journalists across the world to watch the presentation.

Microsoft News confirmed the problems on its official Twitter account and promised to upload Turner’s full keynote online to allow everyone to watch it in full.

“Fuse blew in the building. Power went down. Should be restored shortly,” the company said in a short tweet.

The whole outage lasted for approximately 30 minutes, as Microsoft wanted the live stream to be alive when the company’s officials got back on stage.
