Microsoft claims that a UK version of the update will be released soon

Microsoft launched Windows 8.1 Preview in 13 different languages and, even if English is among those supported, Britons cannot install the first Windows 8 overhaul.

The software maker has indeed released an English version of Windows 8.1 Preview, but localized versions of Windows 8 do not support the update. Getting the ISO files seems to be the only way to try out the Preview, as the Store blocks the download of UK-based IPs.

At the same time, Microsoft has also warned that newer 32-bit Atom processors do not support Windows 8.1 Preview for the time being, so the company is now working on a patch to fix any potential issue users might experience.

More information on localized versions of Windows 8 will be provided in the coming days, so you better have a look at the available Windows 8.1 Preview ISOs.
