14 DAY TRIAL // BurnAware Free has entered the beta stage of development for version 4.7. Among the most notable entries added to the regular set of features there is the ability to write Blu-ray discs with ISO, UDF and Bridge file systems.
Also new in this release is the option to customize the recorder’s buffer by enlarging it to up to 8MB. The default value is set to 4MB. On the same note, the current build can remember the last used recorder if you have more than one installed on the system. If no recorder is detected on the system, BurnAware 4.7 will use additional ASPI driver for the job.
Performance has also been improved, as the new build should be optimized to gather information from disc and drive faster than the previous releases.
