14 DAY TRIAL // Microsoft has recently launched its Pro tablet in China, but the company continues to promote the RT model with some special promos aimed at the local market.
According to a report published by LiveSide.net, Microsoft is offering Surface RT buyers a free Touch Cover or a Type cover with every single tablet they purchase.
Those who choose to buy a Surface RT without a cover will be provided with a free Touch Cover, regularly sold for $119.99 (€91.65), while customers who go for the model that includes a black Touch Cover will be allowed to choose from a second Touch Cover or a Type Cover, sold separately for $129.99 (€99.25).
At this point, it’s not yet clear if Microsoft plans to make this campaign available to buyers from outside China too, but similar special offers are very likely to be announced soon as the device is scheduled to go on sale in new markets next month.
