Google announces that the business version of Chrome browser has improved its functionality by integrating legacy browser support and cloud-based management for users signing into Google Apps from non-corporate devices.

Businesses working with custom web apps designed for older web browsers can now use Chrome without having to give up on those applications. Through Browser Legacy support Google Chrome can be configured to launch specific sites into a different browser. This policy can be applied to all employees.

The second feature is intended for Chrome for Business and Education administrators and allows them to set up rules according to who signs into the browser using the Google Apps account, from non-corporate device, like a personal computer.

Thus, administrators have control over the resources a user has access to from the personal device when signing in with the work account.
