Back in October, Microsoft and Delta Air Lines signed a major deal to bring no less than 11,000 Surface 2 tablets in its own aircraft and allow pilots and flights attendants to dump the traditional paper documents they are using right now.

Delta pilot Captain Karen Ruth told Bloomberg in an interview that she doesn’t have an iPad instead of a Surface because she really likes the new Microsoft tablet and its key features.

“It's sleek. It's got a gorgeous display. You can split the screens. It's lightweight,” Ruth was quoted as saying.

The Surface 2 is already experiencing a pretty big success in the United States, with both Microsoft stores and retailers running out of tablets due to growing demand.

The Surface 2 comes with upgraded hardware, including a new Nvidia Tegra 4 processor, a 10.6-inch full HD display, 32 GB or 64 GB of storage space and two cameras.
