14 DAY TRIAL // Microsoft has recently launched the new-generation Surface tablets, so Panos Panay, who’s in charge of the entire Surface division at the Redmond company, took the time to discuss about the journey to this new products.
While Panay reveals that Microsoft’s path to the second-generation Surface was much more like a roller coaster ride, most likely referring to the wave of criticism that his company had to face following the launch of the new model, he also emphasizes that listening to customer feedback is essential right now.
He claims that the Surface cannot exist without the kickstand, mostly because it’s the key feature that turns the tablet into a laptop.
The Surface 2 and the Surface Pro 2 are now available for preorder, but shipments won’t begin sooner than October 22 for both models.
