Adobe rolled out Reader XI over the weekend. It comes with improved features and introduces the possibility to get forms signed by others. This is achieved through EchoSign online service, which is integrated in the application.

In order to benefit from digital document signing, you need to create a free or paid account.

The set of improvements prepared by Adobe for this build of the Reader touch on commenting tools and fill out forms. Starting version XI, you can use the PDF annotating instrument to add sticky notes, highlight text and use lines as well as different shapes on the PDF files.

Fill out forms are the second feature that benefited from improvements; these help you type your answers straight on the PDF, making form filling with this type of documents completely digital.
