Gecko and Trident fixes dominate in the latest build of Avant Browser

There is only one new option available in the latest version of Avant Browser, the rest of the modifications being fixes, mostly to Gecko and Trident layout engines.

The new option allows you to define the amount of time you want history information to be preserved.

Gecko-related repairs fix problems such as the auto-scroll button, offline working, performing non-English searches in the address bar or a crash of the Flash plugin. Another issue solved in this release of Avant refers to saving pages as HTML in Firefox mode coming up blank.

Fixes for Trident engine are fewer in number and include a fail of executing Ctrl+F on certain pages, working offline. Failure to save forms on some websites was also on the list, as well as impossibility to log into some forums.
