The latest development of Avant Browser 2012, build 21, brings to the table a small set of fixes. These attend to issues affecting both the inherent functionality of the application and the layout engines it integrates.

At the head of the list are the fixes for the black screen issue and tooltips not popping up. The download manager also went through repairs, because it would issue an error message.

The work on layout engines fixes a blank page issue in IE’s rendering engine (Trident).

For Gecko, Avant development team fixes a problem that prevented you to save the current page as image in the case of some sites.

Another repair for Gecko refers to incorrect opening of search results upon dragging and dropping text from other applications.

Installing Firefox add-ons should no longer cause open tabs to be closed.
