14 DAY TRIAL // A new revision for Calibre has been released today, incrementing the build number to 0.8.41. At the top of the list of changes is support for Sony Xperia Play 4G.
The new features touch on the news download system, and a tweak that allows you to control the order in which Tag Browser displays the categories.
Also new in this release is download of Amazon metadata, which means that details about a book can be drawn from an Amazon page, based on the series of the books.
This build deals with several bugs too, thus improving its performance. Problems with the device not being visible in menu bar after having been added via Preferences->Toolbars should no longer occur; on the same note, when trying to find an ebook inside a ZIP archive, the operation should not fail if the archive contains other ZIPs.
