14 DAY TRIAL // Plenty of users have been wondering about the release of the new Diskeeper. The day has finally arrived and the new version is available for download.
The current revision number is 16.0.1010.0, but to maintain things simple the developer dubs it Diskeeper 12.
The application brings to the table a fresh interface, designed for simplified navigation and presenting the information in a drill-down way. The reporting mechanism has been improved to offer both current and historical details about the system.
Diskeeper can generate alerts based on the data retrieved from SMART attributes by the disk health monitoring component.
Other improvements available in this release touch on the system’s boot time. This should be improved thanks to introducing HyperBoot technology. However, keep in mind that HyperBoot works only on non-server systems.
