Another very rare issue gets fixed in Dropbox 1.2.50

After yesterday’s release of a new experimental build, Dropbox launched a new stable version for their synchronization client. The latest build is 1.2.50 and is available for download from Softpedia.

The list of changes is very brief, with only two entries. One improves the error message for common registry problems on Windows, while the other takes care of a rare bug that prevented the application from starting on Windows systems.

The previous version of the application also fixed a problem that hindered Dropbox from launching on Microsoft’s operating system. However, judging by the changelog these were two different issues.

Dropbox offers 2GB of free space at no charge, but you can increase the allotment to more than 10GB. The official guide is available here.
