It’s a short list of changes for the new Dropbox stable release. The developer introduces two significant repairs and announces other, smaller fixes.

The modifications available in Dropbox 1.4.20 relate to correct displaying icons in Windows and Linux. Specifically, the developer repaired the issue with the menu icon not being displayed for Ubuntu 12.10 and the tray icon that would not be visible on Windows 8.

Additional smaller repairs are also available in the current release, but there are no specific details about them.

The Experimental build of the application has also been updated, and it features repairs for the web login issue when using proxies, incessant synchronization on FAT32 drives, as well as a couple of problems relating to the Mac version.

These include double-clicking the installer not working for non-admin users and fixing the beach ball when using the double click installer on Leopard. On Ubuntu 12.10, the issue with command line warnings has been fixed.
