14 DAY TRIAL // The latest build for Miranda IM is 0.9.44 and it is a maintenance release, focusing on solving several problems affecting ICQ and Gadu-Gadu protocols. It also brings to the table updated plugins for messaging and the contact list.
With regards to issues relating to ICQ, Miranda 0.9.44 has squashed a bug that caused problems with delivery notifications. On the same note, the server acknowledgement has been renamed, for better clarity.
As far as Gadu-Gadu protocol is concerned, the latest release of the instant messenger takes care of a problem that caused overwriting image files with the same name, even if they were of a different format. Currently, Miranda checks if the file is already available in the user-defined location and also verifies the format before overwriting.
