Adopters of Microsoft’s new Windows 8 operating system can now enjoy the classic Pac-Man game on their computer without leaving the Modern interface at all.

The Pac-Man Championship Edition DX for Windows 8 and Windows RT is now available in the Store and comes with several gaming modes for a truly unique experience.

In “Score Attack” mode players must collect as many points as possible before the time runs out, while in “Time Trials” mode you need to clear a maze as fast as you can.

Last but not least, “the ‘Ghost Combo’ mode forgoes gobbling Pac-Dots for chomping as many ghosts as possible as PAC-MAN devours Power Pellets,” the description reads.

Sadly, the game isn’t available for free, but a full license costs only $9.99 (€8.49) regardless of the type of Windows 8 device you wish to use it on. The game supports x86, x64 and ARM builds of Windows 8.
