The new beta release for Slimbrowser packs a hefty list of changes, but chief among them is the replacement of the auto-login component with a newer variant. As a consequence, auto-login files will be upgraded into saved form files.

New additions are also on the menu, one of them bringing the possibility to set the download manager to ignore “https” locations. Slimbrowser 6.01 beta lets you reset all the settings and start configuring afresh.

The search field context menu has been enriched with a new option that allows you to paste a string and deploy the search action automatically. Support for importing bookmarks from Firefox has also been introduced. Another useful feature is the ability to delete individual entries from browser history.
