Software developers create tool to unlock Flash on Windows RT

As you probably know by now, both Windows 8 and Windows RT come with a Metro version of Internet Explorer that can display Flash content based on a whitelist periodically updated by Microsoft.

While there are several ways to manually add new websites to this whitelist and thus bypass Microsoft’s restrictions, here’s an app that does a lot more.

XDA Developers forum member hks25258 has created an app that unlocks Flash on all websites, so you simply need to deploy it to browse the web with no restriction in place over the Modern flavor of Internet Explorer.

The problem is that this new tool is only aimed at Windows RT tablets and requires you to jailbreak the device using this application. Once you do that, simply run the program with administrator privileges and you’re all set.
