There's a brand new Trillian 5.2 beta release, Build 8, coming with several new features apart from the usual bug fixes and improvements. The team wants to put out releases faster, so Trillian 5.2 is smaller in scope than previous versions. Still, there's plenty to like in the latest version.

Trillian 5.2 comes with built-in spellcheck to make sure that your messages say what you wanted them to say. The feature works both in the message windows and the social windows.

There's better support for Windows 7 jumplists as well as taskbar previews for conversations. There's better Twitter support as well, the latest version of the IM client makes it easier to choose between the old Twitter retweet method or the new native one. The full changelog is here.
