A new stable version has emerged for Winamp media player solution. It contains improvements and plenty of fixes as well as updates for a few components.

Version 5.65 should run with lower resource usage as the developer has optimized the memory allocation process and eliminated some relating glitches. Another improvement is displaying the currently playing song in media library playlists.

One of the repairs addressed in this release addresses a stability issue, which caused the application to crash when pasting artwork into File Info dialog, under Winamp 5.64.

Also fixed is the problem with some radio streams that would no longer play, occasional crashes when importing the library in the previous version of the application or Winamp Detector plugin failing to work in the most recent Mozilla Firefox release.
