Filters now display recently blocked inbound connections

The latest revision for Windows Firewall Control is 4.0.0.8, and although it is a minor update, it integrates a couple of new things designed to increase its functionality and usability.

First on the list are the filters in the Recently Blocked window, which have been updated so that recently blocked inbound connections are also displayed.

Next is the availability of a new override checkbox in the Properties dialog box of rules; its purpose is to disable temporarily the validation for the remote IP addresses field.

This comes in handy when the internal rules of the application are unable to validate an IPv6 address and the input is correct.

Additional changes in this build refer to the CheckBox template, which has been switched to RadiButton template in the case of "Play default sound" and "Play custom sound" choices under the Notifications tab.

The developer also announced that the size of the installer has been reduced by 20%.
