A new, minor version for XYPlorer has emerged, with features designed to expand the functionality of the file manager. Build 10.90 of the application touches on tag-based file management, multi field search and text preview components.

XYPlorer 10.90 introduces a new tab in the FindFiles section, which allows for a more comfortable search based on tags, labels and comments attached to a file. Furthermore, the Boolean search has been improved and it permits mixing together different fields, for more accurate results (e.g. find all images with 1024 x 768 pixels AND labeled "Red" AND having "2012" in the name).

As far as text preview is concerned, the new revision lets you select a different encoding for the previewed text file, such as Cyrillic, Arabic, Chinese, or Japanese.

You can download XYPlorer from this page; also available as a portable download.
