DriverEasy is a driver managing software solution that now comes with support for Windows 8.1, Microsoft’s latest operating system that got to see daylight last week.

A new version released today includes not only support for this particular version of the OS, but also fixes and feature improvements.

For example, DriverEasy 4.6.1.16849 comprises fixes aimed at a bug spotted when “a second driver update service is not correctly responding to the request,” but also enhancements for the so-called auto-installation engine that takes care of new driver deployment.

In addition to Windows 8.1, DriverEasy can be used on all Windows versions on the market, including XP, Vista, 7, and 8. Both 32- and 64-bit editions of the operating system are supported right now by this new version.
