Bug fixing all the way, no more 2GB import limit on OS X

Dropbox users can update to a new version of the desktop application, which comes with a small batch of changes. These cover issues on both OS X and on Windows.

First on the list is an issue with importing media files larger than 2GB on Mac. In Dropbox 1.4.6 this limitation should no longer bother you.

On Windows, the developer improved how the option that lets you prevent importing files from a specific device is handled. There are no details on how this is now better, though.

Third, and last, on the list is a fix for never-ending synchronization when Dropbox deals with files with really long paths.

There is no auto-updating with this one, so you have to manually download and install it on your system.
