A new version of the official ESPN app for Windows 8 platforms is now waiting in the Store, bringing a bunch of improvements and bug fixes on all builds of the operating system.
The official changelog posted in the Windows Store points to a pack of bug fixes supposed to help the app load a bit faster and be more responsive on Windows 8, regardless of whether you are running the desktop version of the operating system or the tablet-oriented flavor.
For a limited time, ESPN for Windows 8 also offers ESPN Insider content at absolutely no cost, while also providing users with great sports info, such as breaking news, live scores, updates through live tiles and in-depth game coverage.
The app is offered free of charge and can be installed on Windows 8 x86, x64 and ARM.
