Issues persist but the release is expected to roll out as usual

According to the release development schedule, the stable version for Firefox 15 isn’t to come out until next week, on August 28.

Nevertheless, this build is still under tight scrutiny at the moment because of reports that performance is not being up to par.

The developers have yet to receive more reliable details about Flash 11.4 in order to check if it works better than the previous version. Also, click-to-play is not quite finished and users are advised to disable it if issues on its account are noticed.

SPDY is also monitored as the last time it was updated there were issues with broken sites, with attention being paid to Gmail and Twitter in particular.

However, despite all concerns, the revision is expected to roll out as usual, a small batch of users receiving the update first, until all necessary feedback is received to green-light it for all users.
